Describe the political organization of the Buganda during the pre-colonial

-There was legislative body (Lukiiko) which discussed important matters affecting the kingdom/parliament.
-There were minor chiefs in charge of clans known as the Bataka.
-The kingdom was divided in to counties called Sazas headed by the Saza chiefs.

chiefs.
-Buganda had a standing army whose responsibility was to defend the kingdom and conquering more land.
-Vassal states were governed by Batangole who were appointed by the
Kabaka.
-There was a council of ministers which consisted of Katikiro (PM) and
Omulamuzi (chief justice).
-Buganda was a centralized state/kingdom headed by the Kabaka.
-The office of the Kabaka was hereditary.
