- Aircrafts cannot carry bulky/heavy goods as compared to other means of transport.
- Air transport can only be used by the well to do members the society thus making it inaccessible to many.
- It's operations are affectedby unfavorable weather conditions.
- Aircraft emit gases which contribute to pollution of the atmosphere.
- Travelling by air has facilitated international terrorism/drug trafficking.
- The use of military aircraft in military warfare has resulted to destruction of
property.
- Accident by aircrafts even though rare. They are fatal/chances of survival are
minimal.
- It requires a lot of experts to operate an aircraft.
