Why is turn passing a poor solution to the critical sections problem?

-Turn passing is a poor solution because we introduce busy waiting. While a process is accessing a critical section, we don’t want a process waiting it’s turn for the critical section to be idling away, doing nothing useful. We should be utilising the power of the CPU at all times. We lose the progress
