-Diploid zygote undergo mitosis to develop into an embryo which differentiate into
plumule, radicle and one or two cotyledons. Primary endosperm nucleus develops into
endosperm, integument develops into seed/ testa coat thereby bringing a great reduction in water level and this causes dormancy.
